Alright? First time game on Saturday.
 

Alright, everyone? Just popping in to say Hi - just bought my first AS tickets for Saturday against the dark horses of Cheltenham. I'll be bringing my other half and my boy, who is six, to both of their first football matches.

Myself - I'm a Southerner who's lived in the NW for seven years and in Rossendale for two. I'm a West Ham fan but I'd like my boy to have a feel for a local team and I'm not going to try and sway him in any supporting direction. He lives mainly in Sheffield so he'll probably end up being a Blade or hating the game, but who knows?

Like most people my age (39) I first learned about AS through the milk advert, but I'm proud to live locally now, and feel a bit lucky/plastic to turn up when AS are riding this high. I'm hoping for a decent spring day out (and to convert the rest of my small family), and my first live game in quite a while. I'll be buying a shirt and a programme and all that, and you can have my support until we meet David Moyes' Massive Hammers at any point.

Anyway - big up the forum, and maybe see you on Saturday in the Studio Stand.
