OLD DEEDS TO A HOUSE IN SOUTH STREET, ACCRINGTON
Probably wasting my time here, but approx. 8/9 years ago my grandma's house was sold on South Street. The house had been one of quite a few which had been in the family and as this was the last of the properties, the original house deed went with this last sale. I would LOVE to find out who bought the house, as the deed is probably of no interest whatsoever to them, but to me it contains my ancestors names and signatures. The chappie who bought it was supposed to live in the area at the top of Sandy Lane, towards Plantation Street
Anyone any suggestions? Atarah |

Why not stick a note through the letter box of the house?

I think you will find the house deed will be of use to the owner, as he cannot re-sell the house without it.

Re: OLD DEEDS TO A HOUSE IN SOUTH STREET, ACCRINGT
Hi, thanks for advice. I was just hoping that because there was approx. 10 houses on the original deed, I know that as each house was sold off, a new "typed up deed" was created for the inidividual property. I was just hoping that maybe the same had happened for the last property and that the last owner had both, i.e. typed up one and original.
