Re: Is there any truth in this rumour?
Nothing in the Observer about the C of E churches.
Just the likelihood of our Lady of huncoat RC Chapel being closed, and other RC churches being merged. Does any one know a C of E Vicar who can give us any info? |
Re: Is there any truth in this rumour?
Just had an email reply from the Observer. They have heard stories, but too late for inclusion in this weeks copy, so it will be in next week's.
They obviously won't give any info on what they've got as that would spoil their article! |

It's a cost cutting move, makes sense if they can't afford to maintain all the small churches!? ::) ???
