Pink things in the road
 

Check out the main roundabout nr mcdonalds.. At all the rds theres wide pink lines accross.. with look right in forn tof them.

Are these new zebra crossings and no one told us... I dont stop for them like I do with a zebra.. but people tend to step out in front of me....

Ya really dont want to step out in front of a 2ltr astra charging at ya :)


So anyone know just what the hell there supposed to be?

Always thought they were dangerous. Like you said, some pedestrians assume they are like crossings. Some drivers  stop at them, but then drivers coming up at the other side don't. Seen a few people nearly get knocked down that way.

They are just meant to slow drivers down as they come to the roundabout, drivers don't have to give way to pedestrians on them, they are not zebra crossings.  Think they are like a mini speed bump.  but not sure  ???

But as cazzer said, i have seen people nearly knocked down due to one car stopping and another carrying on.  :-/

I know that the material used is supposed to give extra traction in wet, its often used on bad bends and the end of urban clearways.
