A Wedding
I'm off to a wedding on Friday afternoon. A nice couple and I really wish them luck.
After wondering what I might wear I started thinking back to all the weddings I've been to over the years. My own, of course, Steeljack's too, when I was a lovely bridesmaid........xx Anyway, back to the question........has anyone ever been to a wedding where the bride or groom hasn't turned up? |

Re: A Wedding
Not yet, but I am a bridesmaid for my mate Angie in 3 weeks time. All I am saying is that they had better turn up..... I am not wearing a dress only to be left at the venue with a load of guests.
I wish I hadn't turned up for my wedding, I'd have been much happier..:D |
Re: A Wedding
When my Mum got married, her Dad got into the wedding car with her and said 'you can still back out if you want to'.
When I got married my Dad said the same to me - fortunately we both turned up. |
Re: A Wedding
When I got married, got cold feet in the car. My Father-in-law to be locked the car door and wouldn't let me out.
He told me that Mick was paceing up and down, scared I wouldn't show and was more nervous than me. Appart from the odd time or two I have never regreted getting married. In the early day's we were going to get devorced every week. Not that we could afford to. |

They both turned up and, hopefully, here's a pic to prove it!
It was a lovely day enjoyed by all. |
