Old Friend

Hope somebody can help, just been on the phone to my mum & dad & they said, there was an article in the Observer a few weeks ago, about an old friend of mine, Called Greg Brennand, said he met up with other mates from Clayton, to go to Kathmandu, that's all the information they had, as they heared it second hand, I haven't seen him in 35 years. Hope soombody remembers reading it, so that I can look it up, tried Observer website but could'nt find it.

Re: Old Friend

It was in the Life in Accrington section on 16th June and told the story of their trip in a VW camper van in 1972 to Australia where they got as far as Kathmandu. They have just had their first reunion in Accy in 30 years. There was Barrie Nuttall, Greg Brennand, Jim Woods and Tony Sunman. Jim lives in NSW, Tony in Darwin NT, Barrie and Greg in Vancouver.

Hope this helps...:D

I had a look on the Observer site and couldn't find it, because it's not a news article it may no be on. I will try and dig out the paper and scan it in for you...If I can find my scanner...:D

Here it is..... I haven't used the scanner in ages and have no idea how to sharpen up the text. If it is difficult to read maybe one of our less technically challenged members can sharpen it up for you..:D
