Len, what a great recovery from the archives! It is so nice when Accywebbers remember threads that are important to those members.

North easterly from where Mate? Wouldn't that have her running toward Norway? Or do you mean from the Maldives? I mean the Falklands!

Tenerife, though if the wind changes she might hit landfall in the Western Sahara first.:D

I did make my decision but having thought that so much time had gone past on the thread, I didn't bother to retrieve it.

There are two or three reasons why I've decided not to go. I made the journey in 1983 and met up with the Falkland Islanders who helped to make my husband comfortable during his last few minutes. Lovely people who I will remember forever.

He was buried at sea, shortly after his death and so there is no place for me to feel close to him. Apart from in my heart.

I've talked to my family and we feel that it's more of a military thing this year. The lads who served there need to be together. Happen I may be wrong but I've made my choice.

I apologize for the mistake made. Although blaming the US educational system I find quite irrational. I would rather put the blame on the bloated Teacher's unions that reward poor educators by giving teniour regardless of compotence. (then again, could be I was while the teacher was teaching on such an incredibly interesting geographical lecture.!):D
