Let me know how you go on, can always ask our Laundry technician at work if ya struggling, he knows all about stains, etc., having to advise customers on curry, wine, grease, milldew and so forth, on table linen. When we do tests, guess which stains still show traces... make-up !! Scares me what I am putting on me face everyday. Course ya' could always try givin up smoking .. tee hee. Re: Why does white go yellowish??
Following on from Kate's stain tales....
I had Roger Moore's girlfriend, now wife, Christina Tholstrup, shouting at me that some shirts we had made had terrible stains on the collar. It had happened before, and as I explained to her predecessor, it was hair dye. She screamed down the phone that he didn't dye his hair! Presumably after a little chat between them, she phoned back later to appologise.:) |

No he's an angel. He once spent half an hour signing autographs for a coach load of Welsh women who were down on a Christmas shopping trip, and who mobbed him. Mind you he wasn't so angelic when I told him he'd gone up a collar size, which he said hadn't altered from his Dorethy Squires days.:p |

Actually now about to eat an M & S Cheese and Onion Pie, filled with creamy mature cheddar cheese, onion and potato, accompanied with side salad smothered in Paul Newman's own Caesar dressing plus M & S stone baked Garlic bread plus the mandatory glasses of Asda's Franzia cartoned white wine. My culinerie skills are second to none! Know, however, help is on hand if I drop the whole lot on the furniture during episode of Corrie. |
Re: Why does white go yellowish??
I dont smoke and i used to have the same problem, I asked a dry cleaner, he told me its due to condensation. Said we all get a little condensation in our houses in the winter, and especially in our bedrooms while we are asleep, something to do with cold air and warm breath.
