maybe I'm out of touch with things , but who is this Sasha Cohen/Borat guy ? here in the States he is pushing a new movie due to open this weekend , Is he popular in the UK , is he any good ? he looks like a Freddie Mercury wannabe

Like Willow said,his earlier character used to be Ali G,he was in Madonna's video for the single 'Music' under that guise.He is using Borat at the moment and has another character called 'Bruno' who is a gay Austrian TV presenter.He is quite funny.Can be contrversial but funny non the less.:D

He basically pretends to be some so called cultural ambassador from the real lfe country of Kazakhstan. He is sexist, racist, and tricks real American people into talking to him about various issues. He talked to three leading feminists about women's braind being the size of a squirel.

It's a short lived joke, as with growing success, comes the fact that everyone will be wise to him in the future.

Funny? Sometimes.

He sang in a country and western club with a load of red necks, a song he said was very popular, 'Throw the Jews in the Well'. With which they joined in the anti-Semitic words with gusto. Sacha Baron Cohen is unsuprisingly Jewish.
