can any good person help me out on where I can buy a/some books about gun dogs ? and even recommend a book of said topic ?

There's a shop on the main street in Grantown on Spey always has a fair selection of that kind of book in stock.

erm..thats all well and said and done...thanks for the info but seen as how I live in accrington which is not remotely close to the scottish highlands never mind the river spey or aviemore which is a stunning part of the uk I was looking for some info slightly closer to home...as in the northwest of england...

There's a shop in Clitheroe (or used to be cant remember the name) close to the market though that sold fishing/hunting gear.

ive got a cocker spaniel which is a gundog! However i think that pet shop in oswaldtwistle across from the bank has got books on them i think.

If you wish to peruse any books, the best place by far in the northwest, is Waterstone's, on Deansgate, in Manchester. There are no decent bokshops left in either Accy, Blackburn or Burnley.

sounds stupid but try pet shops!! pet warehouse in ossy sell books on animals..................you never know unless you try! :)
