does anyone know which taxis are NOT charging time half or double time over xmas? i know arrows are not doing it on xmas eve and boxing day and new years eve, but are on christmas day! i really want it for xmas day and new years day!

I saw one advertising in the taxi office window the other day about no extra charges for Christmas. Problem is I can't remember where it was :confused:

Is there a taxi office on Abbey St ?

Try Central or CB taxis. Haven't seen them advertised, but they usually don't charge any extra.

It was CB taxis on Church St where I saw the sign saying No extra charges over Christmas and New Year period. Just been past again so now I know where I saw it :D

cb didnt charge extra last year but it has new owners now , arrows and cb are now teh same company but i dont know which ones policy is been used

Just be careful with some taxis wont ya at this time of year, some dont pick up but mow people down too:angry:

ya might not like this being said but if i was working xmas/newyears days i,d be wanting double time.
