I don't want to spread rumours or anything but has anyone heard anything?
Got told something yesterday but can't confirm it, nothing in Telegraph :confused:

Yes Paul has sadly died, at a relatively young age.

His cousin told my Mum.

Thanks Garinda, someone told me yesterday and I looked in the telegraph and found nothing, I was hoping it was wrong but sadly not

ah bless, butchers are few and far between nowdays, there was only 1 english butcher(no offence to other nationalities) between accrington and blackburn (i mean between blackburn rd and accy rd) he had a shop near me at intack but unfortunately he closed down and retired just before christmas

Sad to hear of his death. I do the bookkeeping for a butcher friend and the hours he puts in just to keep going are frightening.

He closed the shop quite a while ago and concentrated on selling to pubs/hotels/nursing homes etc, he has a unit near the council yard off Brown St

His shop used to be where the off licence (Booze Busters?) is now, on Union Rd, before he went into wholesale supplies.

Very sorry to hear about Libby.Iused to rent one of his bedsits above his shop on Union road,also knew a couple of lads who worked there.Shame.:(

Went to Pauls funeral today, a very sad occasion but brightened by the funeral courtage of a horse drawn hearse being preceded by his red Audi, LIBBY. Well done to whoever thought that out, It made me smile. Oh and exitng the church to Surfin USA!
