Any Sparkys here for a quote?

Bought 2 security lights when i moved here & still in box clogging the kitchen cupboard, its either install them or sell them, so exploring installing them 1st idea.

So im after an electrician quote, want an official electrician for a quote of installing a standard pir security light at the back & a globe pir security light at the front ?? Wondering how much it would cost ?

Can any sparkys help or advise ??:D

Are you allowed to fit them yourself or do you have to get HH to do it?

The creditation you need to be looking out for is "Part P" registration. This system runs along similar lines to the Corgi registration for gas fitters. It is designed to weed out the cowboys who change the bulbs on the Christmas tree lights, then claim to be a house-basher.

if it is on a plug going into a domestic socket you should have no problems doing it yourself .if you are breaking into a circut thats different

Niceic - The electric equivilant to Corgi

Try going Homewise, they have contact details for local electricians who do quality work and have reasonable prices.
