Ours up near us has been empty for months literally they dont have fags they are stocked with loads of crap stuff like butterbeans, and they have even widened the isles so there are less shelves and makes them look fuller the staff say they dont know whats going on but i just think they not saying!

I had heard that Tesco were looking at the 3 empty units in the Arndale opposite Iceland but now Kwik Save might be a better bet for them.

It certainly gives them more freedom of opening hours which is key to them

Re: kwik save

Its a shame for kwik saves workers as they're not even sure when they will be being paid, many havent been paid for a while already and they're unsure about their redundancy pay. Its a shame its ended up that way for kwik save.

I went in a few weeks ago and wondered why it was such a shambles, as the stuff they still had in was at stupid high prices so I didnt want to get what I wanted anyway.

well they shouldn't have cleared off in the first place, think the one they left had slightly more floorspace, p.s. when they were in town i remembering em sacking a friend for having time off after her brother passed away, so if they do return lindsay, stick where you are.;)
