My grandson is 8 years old, he is mad about football.
He came to our house yesterday and was playing outside with his friends.
I went outside to make sure that he was OK.
Thomas was laying on the ground legs akimbo and I was concerned that he was hurt.
"Tom are you hurt?"
"No he" (Pointing to his friend) has kicked me in the balls.
Come on good people how do you deal with that one?

Tell him the sooner he starts moving the sooner it will get better.

I dont have any - been told of a few fellas i know who did play footie and did get kicked in the nether regions.

Well i would have told him he would get that with playing football and when he gets older he would nowe for him self.

If men insist on 'kicking' a blown up piece of leather around a sizeable pitch of land, accidents are bound to happen. It is stated, this was his friend for heaven's sake and obviously an accident.

Would empathise with the lad (well, not me like, I'm female) but tell him to go and shake hands with his friend, and to assure him par for the course of embarking on this sport.
