I see something in the Observer about a bridal fair on sometime in Accy, think its in the townhall, might be worth a look there.

The best thing you could proberbly do is have someone make it. I got married in accy, but lived over here (canada) at the time. I had 2 bridesmaid's in Accy, one in scotland and one from over here. The only way I caould get what I wanted was to have them made, I still like what i've choisen to this day! none of that fluffy peach stuff that you look back on and why did I choose that!

What a coincidence i'm getting married this year too!!!!

Maybe if you got your daughter to stop eating as much you would get a dress to fit her :)

ellie 02-02-2004 10:15

how do you know she eats so much wingy?
so when you getting married?

ellie 02-02-2004 10:16

more to the point how do you know its my daughter?!!!!

janet 02-02-2004 10:21

Wait till you get married before the arguements start, otherwise you might not need the dress. lol

WINGY 02-02-2004 10:23

I could allways pick her a nice chinese outfit up!!

ellie 02-02-2004 10:25

mez 02-02-2004 11:54

hi pussycat, i know someone who sews for a ballet school, give me rough idea on size & ill ask her if she can make one for you, no promises but ill try .

lettie 02-02-2004 15:29

My little sister was my bridesmaid, and I had her dress made, my stepmum did it. She also made my sister's wedding dress. She doesn't make things for people outside the family normally, but if you are really struggling, let me know and I'll ask her.

ellie 02-02-2004 15:34

ah thank you ive imd mez and i will keep trying these shops.
i will find one, plenty of time yet as wingy isnt back from china for a while, at least it keeps me busy searching the only trouble is i keep finding more wedding dresses and ive already got mine on order
