I remember the Forge but I think a builder had a place next door.Memory needs a jolt.

It was a blacksmith's, he was called Moore and now lives up Haslingden way, His wife was Bennita Moore.
The rag shop was higher up Back Burnley Rd, on the right hand side about level with the rear of Denbighs Plumbers.

On the opposite side of the road to Moore's Forge there was a row of shops, from the pub to the next corner.

the Rag shop was "Readers" owd Henry used to kip in it.:)
