does any body know the thing about scan pictures apparently girls have three lines on the stomach and boys dont i dont understand it does any body else?

I haven't a clue but you might get an answer from a midwife who is a member on here.

I don' t know anything about them, only that they have certainly come a long way since I had them done, you could hardly see an outline on mine. Why don't you ask the midwife when you go for your next check? I am sure she will explain and then you can let us ignorant people know!:D

There were no scans when I had my children but both my daughters had scans with theirs. Both were told, accurately, the sex of the baby but only because the genitals were visible. There was no suggestion of any lines anywhere.

The sex of the baby is diagnosed by looking at the genitals and has nothing to do with lines on the stomach. If the baby has its' legs crossed on the day then you cannot tell the sex of the baby..:D

When my girlfriend went for her scans i couldnt see anything, the midwife thought i was joking and it was only when i asked her to point out where the baby was that she realised that i wap being serious. The only part i could clearly make out where his little hand waving its fingers at me.
