does anyone believe that after recycling
your can of coke (if you do)
or lager
within six weeks it can become part of a car
i may be cynical but i think not :confused:

They also reckon that your recycled newspapers could be used to print the paper the following week!!:(

recycled paper in this area more often than not goes to hong kong so no chance of it being done in a week

The paper thing I can belive, you only need to look at how many paper recycling(mills) there are in the area. and at the end of the day the paper used for the daily rag is second rate and far inferior to printer or writing paper.

As for the alu cans, I can't see why the'd be shipped abroad fo the same reasons as the paper.

Plastic is a different one, different countries have different rules regarding "green issues", so for our and other govts. it's a cop out, pass the problem onto the developing world and wash our hands of it.
