|
Re: King Street Club becoming an Indian restaurant
Yes, its true, my friend had her 40th birthday bash booked there for December and they've cancelled it and the reason why was because its been sold and its going to be a Indian.

Re: King Street Club becoming an Indian restaurant
I'm surprised at that. I thought it was doing alright as it was. It's a big place for a restaurant.

Re: King Street Club becoming an Indian restaurant
When I was staying in London earlier this year I visited a Lebanese restaurant and the food was great. Something like that in Accrington would be worth me travelling for. :)

Re: King Street Club becoming an Indian restaurant
Should have one from every nationality in the town, I'd never eat at home again :D
A tapas bar could be a good idea, one in Rawtenstall and its always fully booked |

What a sad demise for the place. :( Any more food places and the town will be a huge eatery and nowt else. Fond memories of the Place in its various guises.

Re: King Street Club becoming an Indian restaurant
I went to a lads night there and it was great. Good atmosphere good size and a really good bunch of staff working there. Shame its becoming a food place.

Re: King Street Club becoming an Indian restaurant
Indian is boring. We've got enough Indians. I agree that Middle Eastern would be a nice change.
|
Re: King Street Club becoming an Indian restaurant
why do we need Anymore eating places? no matter were they originate, not many places left now that are nice n you can have a dance, drink etc with a good stage for the acts. i think its a damn shame.

Re: King Street Club becoming an Indian restaurant
Thanks, might try it one night.
THIS would be a good one to have in Accy, went in this place whilst in Sydney and it was that good I went back again a few nights later, portions wouldn't be as generous if in the Uk though, there are a few listed in the UK but too far to travel |

Re: King Street Club becoming an Indian restaurant
Well there must be some money to be made or they wouldnt be doing it ..just seems a bit sad that yet another place of entertainment is closing down ..
would be interesting to know just whats left around the town as i havent been for a while . And its strange that although i dont live there anymore i still feel sadness that its filtering away and i get this sad feeling each time i drive through the town .. same with ossy once you couldnt drive/walk down union road without knowing at least 10 to 15 people and now you see no one ..very sad but thats changes for ya |
