Nickname's

Don't know if this thread has been done before. How did you come to choose your particular nickname? Some names are self explanatory, others less so.

I came by this name due to a state of blind panic and my dog lol. When I was new to computers/internet, I decided to join my first forum. Whilst registering I was asked for a nickname. For some totally unknow reason I got it into my head that I was under a time limit to register. I looked at the dog, who was a pup in those days, we kept calling him a Bonny Boy. That's how I came by my nickname...How about you? :)

I chose my name because i like leopards;) black ones!!
which of course are AKA panthers

Yeah thanks for that misskitty, I just found your thread myself, typical, I should have searched harder in the first place. I was on my way back here to tell folk to ignore this post. Perhaps mick can move it later, saves wasting more of anyones time and webspace :o

I've had that problem too - people called me Will. Willow is actually a girl's name though. Elsewhere I'm Rosie but that was a name someone else chose for me so I prefer to use Willow on most forums.

Willow is a lovely name for a girl, could never imagine a bloke with that name...guess we all see things in different degrees of light.

I suppose my name came from my son and grandson who gave us their old computer when they updated ,,,i was a granny and i came from Burnley...:)

like you sed some names are self explanitory for instance mine is kath as my name is kathleen but as a child my dad always called me mary ironically im going out with a boy called joseph so now he calls us mary and joseph
