Re: Trying to reduce greenhouse gases?
The obvious way to reduce greenhouse gasses - go back to horse power. :D
Get rid of your car and get a horse and carriage. Keep your carriage in your garage and your horse in your garden or the nearest field. He will keep the grass down for you, so you don't need a lawn mower, and supply fertiliser for your plants at the same time. He may contribute a bit to the greenhouse effect, by way of his exhaust fumes, but at least it's better than petrol fumes. You can still wash him down on a Sunday morning and cast envious glances at him next door, who has a bigger, shinier horse than yours, while planning for the day when you drive home behind the flashiest, most expensive Arab steed with twin harness and state-of-the-art shoes. Your carriage can be fitted with high-tech surround sound and darkened windows. Your horse will go from 0 to 20 in about 5 minutes, you won't ever break the motorway speed limit (so no points on your licence) and in the event of an impending collision he'll take his own evading action, possibly up the motorway embankment - especially if the grass looks particularly lush and there's a broody-looking mare in the field next to it. Makes sense, doesn't it? :) |

Re: Trying to reduce greenhouse gases?
If everyone stopped 'breaking wind' it would help, Methane Gas is one of the worst causes of this problem, baked Beans and Brussels Sprouts, Indian Curries should be banned, In my honest opinion.
