Old working gameboy from?? :confused:

My mum had one but it has broken. Now she adores the game Tetris and will spend hours playing it. :rolleyes:

But where sells them any more??

and I don't want to be paying silly prices.

Also if I buy one without a mains wire, what type do they use :confused:



I know she would love another one!! specially with Tetris, would keep her out of trouble for a while :rolleyes:

No I haven't actually!!

Do you think they will sell them? they are a very old game now :confused:

Might be worth having a look.

They have some on ebay but not a lot of them have the mains plug for them. Not sure if you can just buy an adapter :confused: and I know they eat batteries from when I had one when I was younger.

You can stick the old games in the newer gameboys

the sp is a good machine. The boys had them before moving on to the DS
The backlight is good, it makes the screen easy to see.

I might just have one of the old type gameboys lurking in the house somewhere Slinky. My youngest son had one, then went on to a gameboy colour - we've probably still got that too somewhere. I'll ask him when he gets home later today & will post again to let you know but Willows right - I think they do have a retro section in Gamestation.

ive seen them, best places to look are the pawn shops like cash converter. tho there might be some in the window of game in accy centre, i was gunna buy my little lad one but ended uo getting a psp instead (it was free:p)

Slinky, I've found the Gameboy colour at home, unfortunately no adaptor with it & the little plastic battery door is missing (batteries do stay in though). It's in good working order, if you don't get fixed up let me know & you can have this one.

I now have a Nintendo gameboy colour ( well my mum does )

I have just left her playing Tetris, she is as happy as a pig in poo poo :D

Aw, just was reading this to my son. He has an advanced one, also with the battery door missing. He was already figuring on obtaining some Christmas money by selling his to the slinkster! All your kindness has left a 14 year old heartbroken and money broken! LOL:p
