xmas decorations ????

hi all, me n hubby are just debating when to take the xmas decorations down ?? im all for taking the bloody lot down tonight, lol but he says no we will do it at weekend ??
just woundered what your thoughts were ????

I've taken all the cards down and a few wall decorations.....Gonna do all rest tomorrow ... Eaten too much today to do anymore:D

My trees already down. wall stuff will come down tomorrow and christmas toys moved up to the bedrooms.

Well im plzed to say, that my house is free from xmas decorations :D apart from my out door lights which hubby will do tomoz..... house looks realy bare now lol so all thats needed to do is a bloody good hoover & polish lol.

oh yeh bye the way i usually take xmas cards to tesco to be recycled, but this year im gonna cut them out and use them as gift tags for nxt year lol......... as i always seem to run out of them all the time !!

Mine will come down at the weekend if the baby still hasnt made her appearance by then it might get her shifted although i doubt it. Shes not for going anywhere shes quite comfy in there!

my house is now free from xmas decorations, tucked away in the cupboard until the end of the year....took me nearly 4 hours to pull em down and clean up......nightmare!!!
now my living room looks nice and clean...but bare:(...lol

I've been taking mine down today, and loads of the bulbs on the pre-lit tree have just decided to die! Have now run out of replacement bulbs so am dreading putting it back up next Christmas!

Just took them down just before midday. It looks bare and it looks dusty especially with the sun shining in makes it look bad, going to have to get the duster and polish out

Phew ! Just done mine too Shill.. have we just made the 12 days after Christmas then ?

All up in the loft too .. thank you young Thomas next door for handing the two bottom pieces of my Christmas Tree up to me .. last year were still sat on the bed until May .. :o

Hands up all those who put their fairy lights back as they were packed when ya' bought 'em .. nobody I guess .. if you do .. you're sad :D That appears to be a work of art, wonder if it is hand done or by machine ?

My lights were lucky they came off the tree..... the decorations and the tinsel are still on my xmas tree in the box!!! That way its ready for next year all i have to do is put the lights on it and what decorations have fallen off when i took the lights off!!!

lol, mine just get thrown into a carrier bag, then hope for the best nxt yr lol, just passed them up to hubby in the loft lol
and just noticed left out side lights on porch lol
