It said on the radio , that if your man hasnt proposed to you within 3 years of your relationship, then it means its going nowhere!

what ya reckon?,, any truth in that or just a load of balls:D

my fella proposed to me 8 months after we met:rolleyes: and we are still together after 13/14 years:D...........

My boyfriend and I have been together 3 years now, but I keep telling him not to bother. I cant make my mind up about whether I secretly want him to though. I think there may be some more suitable people I haven't yet met yet, after all I'm only young, and I dont ever want to have to get divorced.

I proposed to Julie after 10 months, we moved in together 3 months later and married 2 years after that

Well me n Corker have been together 9 months-nobody has said its too early for us to get wed(which im v shocked about TBH).....all our families are happy for us n said they knew it would happen....if he had left it till 3 years then i might have started to worry,considering how much we talked about it after being together only a few months.....i know-sounds bad but hey,i dont feel like im taking as risk.

I dont think it matters these day wether you marry or not, i got engaged quite soon and the marriage didnt last. I cant say being what ive been through id want to get married again so hope i never get asked but i know people who have no intention of getting married and are still together and happy many years on

My mates parents never married and he is both of theirs so that's at least 18 years still going strong.

The 3 years is quite stupid, I've been with my girlfriend for just under a year and a half, if this held any water I would have to propose at the age of 19... think I'll risk leaving it :p
