Can anyone give me a clue on what i should get my niece and nephew for a christening gift, my nephew is 3 months old and my niece is 2 yrs old and i have only been given 2 1/2 weeks notice.

I thought maybe an engraved bracelet each !!

Any idea's will be really helpful :)

Dont really know exactly what to get them but I bought a christening gift today from that stall on the inside market (in the corner near where they display them cakes) They have a good selection and found them to be cheap aswell

Maybe you could make it a late gift.

Take a good camera...... then have the pics developed, put them in a nice album, then give them as a gift!! It's something they can keep all their lives and good memorabilia.

I recently did this for my friends wedding. We took all the pictures. Got them processed before the night do....and presented them in the album on the night!! they were chuffed to bits to have the pictures actually on the day, as they thought they would have to wait to see pictures.:)

Yeah, my friends were chuffed to bits too. Didn't cost a fortune either.... But all the same.

If you wanted to give it to them on the day, get the pics done at ASDA!! it takes no time at all, and they have some gorgeous Albums.

I got a full set of coins from the year of birth 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p, £1, £2 for a friends child and bought a money box for them.

Other children we have bought their initials in Beatrix potter caharcters.

You could go down the traditional route, but I've got lots of silver rattles, baby cutlery and china, but what do you do with it when you're older?

My godfather bougt me premium bonds as a christening present, and over the years I've had some nice amounts of prizes, which at certain times of my life have really come in useful.

Only an idea, as I'm sure whatever you decide on will be given with love.
