asian sweet shop?
Does anyome know where there is an asian sweet shop? Ty's decided he wants some jalabe(sp)we used to get it all the time from mansha before we moved.

I've never had Asian sweets but looking through the window they appear to look like fudge Could anybody advise what is worth sampling and what it's similar to thanks |

and much like a fudge a lot have almonds in, go in and ask for a sample you will like them the best one is on blackburn road accrington. :dancedog: |

The one on Blackburn road near the bottom of willows lane that everyone is talking about is highly recommended by me.If you ask for say a box of £3 worth they will fill the box with your choice of sweets till you reach your limit of £3.They also let you sample before you buy too.....the only one id say stay clear of would be the ones that look like big oily orange pretzels,they are full of oil inside :(

Ive never tasted asian toffees before, seen them in the shop but they look very sweet to me, are they mostly coconut ones too?

mm i like the carrot ones
if you have ever had a spoonful of condensed milk - then you have hit about half of the sweetness that you get from them they are delicious in small quantities |

These sound good, I've got quite a sweet tooth... as in I can eat an entire kendal mint cake in a sitting.
