I know stovies as a scottish dish but my mums recipie is slightly different, she doesnt use left overs but makes it with minced beef, potatoes, onions etc and it is yummy!! (even better with HP sauce lol)

ok all jive you my stovies.
potstoes -sliced like crisps,1 onion bacon-bits-sausage-1 cut into3or4 pieces.put2 full mugs of water in a saucepan. then layer the pan with potatoes-onion-bacon-sausage-keep doing this till you have enough for your meal.when you have finished ,put a knob of lard in the pan.coverand cook untill soft. you can stir the pan during cooking.

I was the first one to turn up at the meet and sat where i was it was not my fault the rest of you decided to sit at the other end of the room:D
