Am I ill ? ( and if so what?)
 

Righty, yesterday ( Saturday) I got up and felt fine, had shower etc etc then came over all odd, felt really cold, couldn't get warm ,nauseous ,yak.
Went back to bed and was really shivering, teeth chattering ,the lot. Put more clothes on and the fire and radiator and finally got a couple of hours kip.
Felt fine later and went to wedding do, only had 2 pints, got home, went to bed, shivered until 3:30am , teeth chattering again, ended up fully clothed with 3 quilts on, radiator and halogen heater on and got to sleep at 5am.
Today after a bit of kip aided by cocodamol I felt better, it's now approaching bed time again and I don't want the shivering thing again.
It's really severe, and I have headache behind my eyes.
What is up with me and will 3 quilts cure it?

sounds like that nasty virus thats going round linds, if it is lasted a couple of days wi me, about 4/5 days with paris.

spring cold .... good luck - i had it last week and still got it now....

lemsips, hot toddys, tunes, dont bother with strepsils and buttercup syrup....

No cold symptoms though?
Just ache behind eye balls, no cough or runny nose or owt.

Yeah I am, but my vision is fine ( well, as good as it's gonna get! it feels like a migraine type pain.
I've never had proper flu but maybe this is it, am fairly achey too.

I once had those symptoms when I had sunstroke... felt terrible...

I've been ill with a fever recently and a sore throat and it hasn't been nice, thought I may have had tonsilitis again but I feel better now, so hopefully it'll just be whatever I had and it'll pass in a few days :)

I had similar a couple of week ago, just a virus thats going round, couple of days it lasts

There is a virus going around, I got it on 1st April, but unfortunately it has had a very adverse effect on me, the bottom line being that I'm still struggling three weeks on

Wll, I've slept for ages and I seem to be better ! The 3 quilt strategy worked ! :D ( oh and deffo not pregnant unless it's another immaculate conception !:rolleyes:)

there is a virus going round my grandchild is of school with it, she started saturday.
my grandson went to school to day and they have 10 out of his class with it.
