wish it had fell off the back of a lorry! it would have been cheaper.
its just out of warranty! and needs fixing. it doesnt come on at all but theres a weird clicking noise coming from the back of it when i plug it in.

There is a TV repairer in Gt Harwood who has done jobs for me in the past,
go to the top of Queen St, turn left and there is a shop whch sells second hand furniture, his workshop is upstairs.

Take it back to the supplier I think you will find that things are expected to last longer than just out of warranty. You should get a new set and if they won't exchange you need to take it further.

I certainly think that ringing or emailing the supplier to see what they have got to say about it not coming on at all when it is JUST out of warranty, I suppose it depends how long the warranty was for and how quickly it went after the warranty expired

That doesn't get your tele fixed now tho huh

Watched "Don't Get Done Get Dom" the other month and a bloke had bought his daughter a £700 lap-top, they had the same problem and believe me it got resolved and some more. After watching that programme I would have no hesitation in complaining about faulty goods.

I have always been a bit of a softy with anything like that but after watching this programme no more. Another thing he says to do is haggle you can nearly always get the price down.

tried ringing, got a robot!
just emailed this letter. wot dya think?

Dear Currys,
I purchased a samsung ws-32z419d in or around august 2006 from the blackburn store. the TV has broken, it will not come on, nothing happens but a clicking noise from inside. It was fine in the morning and in the evening upon trying to turn it on nothing happened.
as i see it the television is not of satisfactory quality or fit for its purpose and therefore does not comply with the terms of the Sale of Goods Act.
I would like a repair, refund or replacement and know that i am within my rights to request this as the tv has not been damaged or tampered with in anyway, it just ceased to work.
Please contact me regarding this matter as soon as possible.
