What are your pet hates and niggles?

One of mine and I probably have many! is Estate Agents who dont display the prices in their windows I think it's Mortimers on Little Blackburn Road who are guilty of that so as a consequence I don't go in their shop!

I hate it when bus drivers are reluctant to accept £10 notes. Once I had a £10 note on me and the exact fare (£1.30) in a pound coin and the rest in coppers, and the bus driver showed me up in front of the entire bus (which was full due to it being early morning run when everyones going to work and school) and I gave him a choice, my £10 or the exact change. He took the exact change in the end, but I reported him to his manager regardless as he wasn't at all sorry for wasting my time and showing me up. I got an apology off him the next time he saw me though!

The main thing that niggles me is bad manners, I believe it costs nothing to be polite.

That's mine too.

I always say 'did I hear a little please or thank you?', when confronted with a show of bad manners, even if it is very ill mannered of me to bring it up.:D

Early morning run and you expect the bus driver to have £8.70 in change for you? If it was his first run of the day and you actually had the correct change why did you expect him to have enough change already to change your £10? Why didn't you just do the sensible, logical thing and pay the £1.30 which you in change? :confused:

an old pet hate of mine was when i was drivin a taxi n some prat had the correct change n gave me a tenner.:D:tongueout
