Chocolate moose is difficult to prepare: first you have to catch the moose, and then persuade it to stand still while you cover it in chocolate. And remember that moose are very large animals with attitudes, and may not take kindly to being covered in chocolate:D

Forgive colonial ignorance, but I forgotten whether "tea" is the same as our lunch (noontime) or dinner/supper (6 - 7 o'clock).

For lunch she'd get a peanut butter and jelly (grape) sandwich and a cup of coffee. For dinner she'd receive the many vegetables coming in from the garden: Beans, peas, greens, potatoes, brocolli, cauliflower, beets, carrots, turnips, asparagus, garlic, and/or onions for now.

As far as I remember "tea" is dinner, altho' I remember it being served at around 5 pm. Those silly limeys have their big meal at lunch time (or they used to). This would explaine the collapse of British industry ... after a feed of double pudding, chips and peas, with lots of bread and tea, and something sweet and heavy with custard for dessert, no one could work in the afternoon. The workers would lie around scratching and breaking wind, while Japanese industry took over the world:D:hidewall::D

This "brew" thing confuses me ... over here in god's country, a brew is a beer, often called a "brewskie" or a "cold one" (even tho' Cashy thinks a cold one is something else:D). I somehow don't think that you will be saying to Her Majesty: "Hey Liz, grab a brewskie and take a load off." So what kind of brew? Tea? Coffee?

Re: the queen

Just knew this would get to a hatred of the Royals ... which I don't, however, to get back to the original theme (thought good thread actually)

I am a rubbish cook, but do rather a nice stew .. nowt fancy, just beef, carrots, barley and lentils with bay leaves .. love roast potatoes with it (King Edward's of course ! ... LOL). Otherwise, will be a quick trip down to M & S.

I'm with Flashy,Bernie etc.. on this one i'm afraid.
Wouldn't give her the time of day.
I can't stand the royals and all they stand for especially all the lesser royal hangers on!
Back on topic then i think she would be struggling to get in my flat nevermind getting fed!

Truth is, Diana was killed by one of her ex-lovers ... the police began interviewing them the day after her death, and should be done around 2020 .... and then all will be revealed:D:hidewall::D
