Hi all does any one know if the boys brigade is still running in church ?

I think the only one is now at Rishton, Geoff Smale is teh man to ask, I'll try and find his number and call him

I was in 1st Accy from 7 till about 19-20 and in the Band from 9.

Church (Ernest St) going strong still, PM with number sent.

oooo, fair does, I only recall seeing Rishtons picture in teh Observer.

It was a brilliant thing that I still have a lot of friends from.

Camping in Angelsey are still some of my fondest childhood memories

theres nothing like that around here, i wanted Reece to be in the scouts Em, but i couldnt ever find anything here for him :(

Theres a few still going
I know Ernest street is (church)
Rishton is
Burnley is
Colne is

There isnt so many now i dont think now :s

Glad to hear the BB still has a presence in Hyndburm, to some it might appear as old fashioned but as an organisation that promotes obediance, reverence, discipline and self respect our community would a far better place pf these values were in place.

Ian - I also have good memories of the BB camps on Anglesey and particular Centenary Year in 1983 nd I agree the many friendships that are still going strong

My cousin, Derrick Turner (who was a lot older than me), was leader of the BB in Oswaldtwistle in the 60s and 70s. :)

I know for a fact 1st Church company (ernest street) are deffinatly after members.
