Hunger strips .. Anyone tried em?

Ok Im a devil for the munches at night and Im forever snacking, and to my despair ive gained a few unwanted pounds. Thing is each time ive tried to diet ive always ended up adding to them.
Anyway Ive decided to get out more and get excercising. Ive picked up an excersise/air walker type thingy off freecycle and its brill and I go on a 15/ 20 min walk everyday
Today though jim went to asda and he came back with these hunger strips. They are just thin strips of selophane type stuff that you place on your tongue and let them dissolve in seconds.
Upto now Ive had three so far and touch wood they seem to be working. Ive had my dinner and tea and not munched at all ..Yayyy:D
Ive never seen them before so wondered if anyone else had tried them? If so did they work for you?
Heres thier website. for anyone who dosent know what im on about.

Now Slim Hunger Strips

I've done a little searching - main ingredient Guarana Seed Extract - high in caffeine, so you might be wide awake tonight

Seems a bit strange though when you think about it , Why would a food-store (ASDA) want to discourage people from buying stuff (snacks) when there is such a big mark-up
bit like having weight watchers leaflets on a pie shop counter ;)

Hey good stuff up to now. havent munched as yet . Have eaten only at meal times with exception to a light sarnie at supper. (next mission to ditch the suppers)

Did have a lousy nights sleep though but dont know if I can blame the strips for that or the damned alarm clock ticking away which im not used too.

Will keep testing:D

Wouldn't wide strips of sellotape-type stuff placed over the lips achieve the same effect? :p

I find that the best way to avoid snacking is to not buy them in the first place, and to live a long way from any shop that sells them
Sometimes I visit my cupboard snacksearching and the only easy thing I see to snack on are rice cakes - bit like eating polystyrine ceiling tiles

Omg panther , Have you had a full tub ? .. Im still only half way through my first . Must say they are workin for me. I take one of them and then just end up getting pre occupied with something else.
Suppose its like giving up smoking. I still get my cravings after 2 yrs but have an inhilater to stop the cravings. Just a substitue I suppose but well if it/they work. I,ll keep using em.
