Broadband and phone packages/Sky
 

I'm currently with talk talk for Broadband and phone and Sky for my TV however my talk talk contract has come to an end so I'm now looking for the best package, with little or no disruption for the change of provider and with provision of free evening or weekend calls

How do people find the Sky package, what is the cost of broadband/phone in addition to the TV. Is their customer service better than what they provide for their TV service

If I dont go with sky then whats the best deal on broadband/phone services

apologies for not putting this on the computer bit but hope i can get some feedback from more members if it appears on the questions bit

I am with sky at mo but am just on with changing to tiscali they doing phone and broadband 4 £19;99 a month. That comes with line rental, free any time landline calls, 8Mb and unlimited downloads..As 4 sky tv i find it a wast of money...

I am with Sky for everything, my broadband is £5 per nonth and my monthly tariff for phone is £15 with free evening and weekend calls. I certainly have no complaints with the service I receive.

Something to note, if you do not have a sky talk service then the broadband will increase by £5 in March.

There is a free evenings/weekends talk package.
o it won't make any difference to me (I hope)

I change to virgin and i find that is great , worth looking into . B/B is good as since i have had them , no boots and connection is rock solid !!! makes a change from being totaly frustrated at continual disconnections .

Who were you with before?

Many problems I have found with peoples ADSL broadband through their phone line has been down to poor wiring and incorrectly installed micro filters in their house.

I'm with Sky and am very happy with them. solid connection etc. I pay for the max package (10 quid a month )as I use a lot when on call for work. I get a 10M connection in Baxenden. I don't pay extra and haven't got SkyTalk but I do pay for 2 seperate contracts connections ( ours and Mother in laws ) so that may be something to do with it.

Recommended from me.

BTW, I can't have cable so can't comment on that as an option.

I'm with Tiscali for phone, broadband & tv £24.99 a month includes unlimited broadband, line rental & all landline calls at anytime of day - not had any problems with phone or the broadband service although the tiscali tv service can be hit and miss at times as it randomly decides to switch itself off but basically it's the same as freeview but with a few extra channels such as Sky 1 & 2 thrown in.

I have sky tv and the broadband package ... basic tv and the free net service that goes with it. Have found when spugs down and using it as well it goes slow .. but what it still works ....... everything fine so far....
