i need a piece of something big and waterproof and clean

how big? I have a roll of thick plastic sheeting you can have some if you want.

What about the carpet when the amniotic fluid runs off the plastic and onto the floor?

Are you going to put sheets over the plastic to soak up all the gunky stuff?

theres some mats made out of the same stuff as nappies for that in my home birth bag.

i think so yeah... i have a massive bag of stuff here, i havent nosied in it (yet lol) but she said she had some of them and not to buy any and that she needed something waterproof but opened out bin bags would do......i dont fancy giving birth on bin bags tho!

i also have 4 canisters of gas and air and 1 oxygen :D

its there because she had to order it... i tried it with ty and didnt like it so im not planning on using it, the oxygen is in case the baby needs it... i dont do medication especially if theres a chance of it passing over to the baby.

ive said yes to the injection for the placenta and vitamin k for the baby, they are both in my fridge now lol

hopefully being at home will relax me and it should be fairly fast (ty was 45 mins 2nd stage)

I know you are from Colne which is almost Yorkshire where they still give birth in caves but over here we have these new fangled things called Hospitals.
