Lemonious Street, Accrington

I took some photos yesterday in the Christ Church area including Lemonius Street, when uploading this photo to Geograph (mapping Britain) I tried to find another street with the same name but couldn't and neither could Google.
So the question is
Where did it get it's name?
Does anybody know of another?
Thanks for reading

What do you want me to say.
I've known Lemonius St all my life.
Went along it every day going to Woodnook Council School. My Uncle Sam lived in one of the houses,
My aunty Ada lived in another.
I live about 50 yards from it.

Retlaw.

That is correct, no 6 was purchased while house prices were down, as a quick sale and needed quite a bit of work inside and out, and yes I used to live there (rented) and it was a nice house and a pleasant street to live on

and yes, it is Lemonius Street allthough I have seen a number of variations on the spelling

Perhaps it is because Retlaw lives so close that the prices are low.

My thought is that there was a member of the Royds family with the Christian name of Lemonius. Royds owned most of Woodnook, and a lot of streets bear their family members' names.
