There’s a new place called The Valeting Bay on Manor St. at the junction with Cambridge St.

I’ve not used them so don’t know what they charge or what the opening times are.

Just nipped round the corner and got their phone number - 07773 330120

DIY is the way to go in my book, maybe it’s just me being picky but if you want it doing right etc.

Guess it helps if you enjoy giving the car a good clean and I do…sad innit :D

My car has been parked under a tree for most of the winter and now has fungus growth.
How much do they charge (for inside and out) at that place on Harvey St?

I too enjoy doing it myself but the reality of a wife and 3 YO means I rarely get the time I'd like.

Personally I use Megs NXT wash, a Megs Quick Clay detail, min 2 coats of NXT wax. For the interior, megs again Interior cleaner, glass is old skool vinegar and newspaper, a wipe with IPA on all plastics to get rid of marks and then a silicone wipe over.

I don't spend a fortune and I'm thinking of a powered polisher as a treat to myself. :D

All these people that enjoy cleaning their car. Mine goes through the car wash from time to time but thats it. Inside it is a right tip, really does need a good tidy out and clean but I NEVER get the time to do it :(
