Children and tv remotes
 
Does anyone else have the problem of watching 5 things on the tv at the same time when a child has hold of the remote control?

Reece literally IS a 'control freak' he is in my bed watching MY tv, whilst watching.....wild at heart, batman, rush hour 2, pimp my ride and come dine with me....it really does drive me insane

i've tried taking the remote off him but the problem is, we have the same freeview box with the same remote downstairs and he keeps hiding that remote for when i confiscate the other off him.....i just cant win, its a good job i aint bothered about the telly tonight isnt it :rolleyes:

Its not a problem for us...............its either High School Musical 1,2 or 3 and thats it......no adult TV until well after 9.pm and the kids are well asleep. Thannk you Sky plus

lol, lucky you, he's in bed in 10 minutes so i'll have my own way :D



and before anyone says it, i DONT let Reece control my life, i'm only letting him get away with it because i am on here

Unplug the thing, pull the fuse, and tell him to behave or theirs no more tele. Should have put him in the frozen chest beore you sold it.
When my kids were little, I just snapped my fingers pointed upstairs and they went to bed no arguments.

AND I did'nt beat them, they just knew they could'nt win.

It isn't so much a kid thing but a man thing. 'im indoors never feels secure unless he has control of the doofer. I make sure that I'm in charge for Corrie and that sort of stuff and then my computer takes over and I leave him to it.

simple solution flashy, buy a pair of lads gloves,the ones with no fingers, buy a pair of handcuffs, job sorted.:D

lol@you lot, sometimes when i'm watching something he will stand at the door with the other remote and flick the chanels on purpose just to annoy me, then he wonders why i get angry and shout at him, kids hey

Reece is a control freak is he flashy, how old is he:confused:funny thing is Joan calls me the exact same name when it comes to the remote at weekends, and I'm 62:D
