Who does have an effective method

of getting the cover on a king size duvet without the battles, suffocation, and tent effect?
Come on...a half hour later n this lady is 'glowing' ... okay a bit sweaty

Re: Who does have an effective method

turn the duvet cover inside out, put your arms in it to each corner and then hold the corners onto the duvet, shake and voila...the cover is on

Would agree with that! I ain't got long enough arms. I do the inside out thing, then put it on the floor and slide inside it to get the corners in properly.:)

Can't believe you all struggle with something so simple - its dead easy in 3 steps

1. Get out of bed
2. go to work
3. come home and its been done

Doesn't get any easier than that :D

Re: Who does have an effective method

use two spring type clothes pegs to anchor the top corners of the duvet into the cover, and then you can shake the cover on with ease.

Funny 'ain't it .. have sold thousands of duvet covers to hotels, and never once asked the Housekeeper how to put one on ! Know yer product gal !.

Could try standing up on bed the Susie after following Flashy's instructions, but knowing you, would probably finish up going head first through the window.

As an aside, used to get asked many times what the difference is between a King Size bed and Queen's Size. Everybody presumes that the King Size would be the largest, however, in times of old, the Queen's bed was always the largest, as they traditionally slept in separate bedrooms, and the King had to visit her to ... (enter yer own word) so had to be larger. Mmmmm... would love to visit Buckingham Palace to see if this still applies ... :D
