My sister played host to some russian guests once and they brought over as a gift for her putting them up .. 4 bottles of russian vodka ... and oh my that was very very nice went down a treat. better than smirnoff or any of the others ... in fact you drank it neat ... they came the following year as well .. and brought a few bottles more ... and after what everyone was like the year before my brother in law snaffled a couple and hid them in the back so then we wouldnt drink it all on him ... Also my cousin is living in poland at the minute he brought some polish vodka with him .. that went goes down nicely as well ..

Seem to remember in the "olden" days when you could get Stoli in two or three different strengths , red, blue and green lables , same with Smirnoff ....those were the days before the fruit flavoured stuff .;) ;)

Knew this Polish bloke when I lived in Hassy K.S.H. he used to distill his on Vodka, well it weren't actually Vodka it was more like rocket fuel Wowwwwwwww:D

I like vodka and diet coke but you have to be careful because the coke can mask the taste of the vodka so you tend to put a bit more in - well, I do (hic!). I don't mind what brand, though the "local one" here isn't at all bad - Vladivar (only the distillery burnt down 3 years ago).

Oh, it's nice with cranberry juice too. :)

I only drink the alcopops vodka if any, it occurred to me entwisi, that you may have a cast iron stomach! :D :p
