Dogs Dreaming?....
We have a Cocker Spaniel whos 8 years old. Its weird but she keeps on having dreams . She will lie down and fall asleep and then all of a sudden she will start barking or growling etc in her sleep. And today she was asleep laid down and then woke up and started howling laid down . Is this normal for a dog to do this? Does your dog do this?
I find it all amusing though haha! :D:D |
Re: Dogs Dreaming?....
It is perfectly normal for a life form with a brain to dream.
Why did you think it strange? My cat talks (miaows) in his sleep - and even snores sometimes :D |
Re: Dogs Dreaming?....
We have always had King Charles Spaniels and they always had dreams, very funny to watch..........

Re: Dogs Dreaming?....
They all dream and most of them do the "actions". The funniest is when they dream they're chasing something and their paws twitch like crazy, usually accompanied by muffled "woofs". :D

Re: Dogs Dreaming?....
My 10 month old cocker does muffle type yelps when she is dreaming as well as the flickering of the paws.

Re: Dogs Dreaming?....
Our Clio, who is a two year-old Cocker Spaniel often woofs in her sleep. When her feet start twitching we reckon that she's chasing rabbits......not that she's ever seen one!
It's a doggy thing as our Jack Russell used to do it too. Bless him. |
