Pay Pal

Its been mentioned on here a few times about scam emails about bank accounts I've had Them from every bank this side of the Nagasaki, except the one that I use. However, I got one this morning from Pay Pal which actually seemed very genuine. I don't use Pay Pal that often but never had any trouble, so to recieve an email asking me to go to my account via a link didn't seem quite right so I deleted it. Has anybody else had anything like this from Pay Pal and what action did you take

Thanks wadey I'll keep that in mind, but you've got to hand it to these scammers they don't give up easily

I have had spoof Paypal mail too - always delete and blacklist.
The way to be sure is to log into the legit Paypal site - if they need to tell you anything you will find it there.

Thats the best way with them all, If someone wants you to log in by email just delete it and log direct into the site the normal way.

Re: Pay Pal

I ve had them also . Like wadey I reported them and deleted .
It was on the news about them this mornig and just how much money has been frauded from them.
It seems that some folk really do fall for them and send thier details to them and that it has become a huge frauding problem at the moment .
I think if it is such a big problem then its time to get this news on the prime time bulletins just to get it across to as many folk as poss.
