I am happy that I don't have to work :D
and can spend my free time how I want.

I don't understand why the young unemployed don't feel the same.
Maybe they feel the need to buy the latest gadgets and can't afford them.
Old age = hassle free for most people because we are out of the ratrace.

I think I agree ... pressure's off .... it's a waste of time setting out to prove something in terms of career or personal relationships, 'cause there ain't enough time left to do it .... I'll have to think more about this, but I'm content and mellow, even without the bong .... and Wordsworth, with his "nothing can bring back the hour of splendour in the grass", lived in a time without Viagara.;):D

All I'm saying is that some people must have been bloody miserable when they were younger, if they are 'happier' now.

always bin a happy git, probably cos i'm daft as a brush, but when ya get older n kids grown up go there own ways etc, yer either retired fer whatever reason, or gone as far as yer going in yer career, "Pressures" off! so i think yes yer happier when yer older.:)

I tend to agree, think I'd do some cartwheels down Union Road just to prove it but I can walk that bleeding far:D
