Can anybody recommend a good gym in Accrington, preferably one that doesnt try and lock you into a contract ?

you should try Hyndburn sports centre, i think you can pay as you go there

Hyndburn sports centre. They do a discount scheme if you are unemployed.

The Fitness Bank in Ossy is a pay as you go one.

XL Gym at the bottom of Milnshaw Lane has a daily pay (£3.50), and a weekly or monthly pay.
