BBC iPlayer - Richard Dimbleby Lecture: Shaking Hands with Death

The Richard Dimbleby Lecture: Shaking Hands With Death

I haven't watched it yet.
The term 'assisted' baulks a bit with me - I always have been a DIY/independant sort of person.

Most people wish their death to be 'dignified' or 'glorious'(as in war)
What you want and what you get often differ.
Whichever way you go, it all adds to the experience of the Game(life)

Well I half watched it, I sort of got a bit bored and muted the sound while I looked at my ebay bits. No I beleive that you should go all the way and die without assistance. Nature will decide when you bail out-----T

Readily used by Politicians who have no intention of doing this although some of them should & Terrorists/Freedom fighters - it depends really which side of the line you're on as to which epithet is apt !

Wasn't it Henry Kissinger who said that "One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter" ... or something like that.
