If that were the case, my life would be forfeit anyway as I'd assisted the Prisoners. Why then should I kill the Baby ? killing the Baby would make no sense as I would've failed to achieve my intent of freeing 10 innocents.

If as you say I'm a German "Concentration Camp" Guard & am against what is happening, the choice I make would be for the benefit of the Prisoners & myself so if anyone must die it would be the last Guard, if he were a staunch follower it would be regretful but necessary, but should he have a modicum of humanity I would've considered including him in the escape.

Thankfully this is just a question & not a reality & as such bears no consequences, but since you posed the Question where is your answer ?
