Parcel deliveries
Good evening to you all. If you order something to be delivered to your house but for some reason you are not going to be in and the delivery guy lives it with your neighbour across the road and lives you a card saying its with number -- do you.....
A. Go and get your parcel when you get home B. Wait for the other house to bring it over |
Re: Parcel deliveries
go and pick it up when i come home ... your neighbour might not see that you are home ...
|
Re: Parcel deliveries
go and sodding get it, they might nab it if you wait for them
|
Re: Parcel deliveries
if someone has had the courtesy to take in a parcel/package for you, then it is the least you can do to go and pick it up.
Being retired, we often accept parcels for our neighbours, but it rattles the bejasus out of me when they have had a card to say where the parcel has been left, but are too idle to stir their stumps and come for it. I have started to refuse to take in parcels for those folk who can't come and get their parcel. |
Re: Parcel deliveries
Go and get it!
Why are you asking this question Mr Aleks? |
Re: Parcel deliveries
"delivery guy lives it with your neighbour"
maybe this wasn't a typo and the situation is emotionally fraught/complex |
Re: Parcel deliveries
Take the card and go to collect it.

Re: Parcel deliveries
If some one is good enough to take something in for you, its up to you to collect it
