Is this your favorite hangover cure
Express.co.uk - Home of the Daily and Sunday Express | UK News :: Fry-up is the best way to beat that hangover
The Fry Up was yesterday voted the best cure for a hangover, is this your poison, personally, in my drinking days, if somebody had pushed a Fry up under my nose 'd have spent the next ten minutes in the loo calling for my long lost cousin huuuuuuuuie |
Re: Is this your favorite hangover cure
Same here John, not for me at all as I too would be calling Huwie!!!
Plenty of pop I think is the best way, not even a brew as this makes me feel sick. Then I am usually starving by tea-time so something stodgy and then usually fall asleep again if it is a really bad one!!! :drunk: |
Re: Is this your favorite hangover cure
If its a mild one........eg bottle and half of red whilst watching the box or chatting with friends then gallons of green tea and a fried egg butty, if its a major one........eg bouncing round town with no idea what the hell you drank apart from the jagermeister that you spilt down your top then no human contact in a dark room with a bucket to be sick in and no human contact for 12 hrs is the way forward................

Can't beat a good fry up the morning after the night before. Infact, just had sausage, bacon and a fried egg.

Re: Is this your favorite hangover cure
Can drink what I like and still don't get hangovers.
Usually suffer from major munchies after a session though and again when I wake up so it's a huge greasy fry-up all the way for me and a pint of Earl Grey. |
Re: Is this your favorite hangover cure

Re: Is this your favorite hangover cure
Many moons ago as a young 'un, hair of the Dog was the only way to go, can't really say it cured a hangover as such, just kept the Alcohol levels up, thereby avoiding a hangover :D But ooh, when it did kick in, not pretty, paracetamol & a lie down in a darkened, quiet room. :o Bit difficult in a Barracks though, slagged unmercifully for being a Wuss ! Fact that this "Wuss" had stayed out longer and drunk more & harder than my detractors ! Ah well !

Re: Is this your favorite hangover cure
Any body remember the hangover cure they sold in pubs, remember them having them in the Stop and Rest years ago, they were displayed like cartridges in bullet belt
