DAB Radio/Alarm
 

Does anyone have a DAB alarm clock?

We have one and something strange happened last night/this morning. When the t'other half went to put the alarm on last night before we went to bed for some reason the clock had re-set itself. So he sorted it out and set the alarm for 05:45am like we always set it when working..........

01:09am this morning the alarm went off and with that the clock re-set itself again!!:eek:

This has never happened before and there is nothing been wrong with the DAB alarm radio as we have only had it a few month's but I found it very strange.
Now is it the digital airwaves messing around because the clocks go forward tonight or what??!!
Has anyone else had problems like this?

I know this sounds weird and I will probably get some flack for posting it, but I am only trying to help.

On a 'paranormal' forum I found a thread which related supernatural pranks using alarm clocks. I suggest you place some natural rock salt next to that clock. (worth a try?)

I had a night time doorknocker, which roused me in the small hours, only to find the stairwell empty and the exterior doors were locked. I placed some chunks of himalayan rock salt on my landing table next to the door, and the knockings have stopped.

So it may be a ghost? How does the rock salt stop them?!

I just presumed it was just with the clocks going forward it might have messed with the digital airwaves if that makes sense.

Natural rock salt emits negative ions into the air.
That is the principle behind himalayan rock salt lamps - air cleaning.
How it affects 'sprits'? - I don't know - I presume they don't like clean air:confused:

May give it a go if this keeps happening, it has only happened the once so will keep it in mind thanks.

Now MargR's advice may well be useful for normal spirits as they don't mix with salt, but if it's a Tequila, it ain't going to work is it ? An integral part is salt with your Tequila. :D Oh & sucking a lime ! Giving you that lovely scrunched up look. ;)

It happened again last night but this time the alarm went off at 00:10???
Gonna re-tune it again tonight and see what tomorrow morning brings!! :D

Buy an FM one they're only £4 at Asda or you can borrow mine till December.:)
